SWING’N YR BLUES UKE
Drawing on classic early Blues, we will learn to work with chord melody,
riffs, rolls, basic solos & vamps, within the repetitive Blues Form.
We will learn how to support each other to sing and play lead lines,
as well as perform as an Ensemble.
PLEASE NOTE:
Swinging yr Blues Uke is not a beginner’s course.
It builds on fundamental practice within Ukulele Booster
You’re not alone when you practice at home!
There is a dedicated Portal for each weeks material on this website, enabling you to practice along with me and listen to Youtubes of the songs!

Here’s some Practice tips :
* Pick a couple of times during your week when your mind is fresh & commit to them in your diary.
* Set up your Music stand with your Booster Uke book , a Metronome, a Pencil, so you’re ready to go. Download the free metronome app – Tempo Perfect to whichever device suits you best
* Write up the Practice Log page from class to remind yourself what you’re practicing & tick it off!
* Log the metronome speed you are working, so you can notch it up slowly
* Keep your ukulele out of it’s case to wink at you every time you go past – ” hey pick me up !”
Alongside a couple of serious devoted weekly sessions, it’s great to pick up your uke frequently, like you would your lovely cat, and give it a few strokes. Maybe even bang out a C pentatonic scale on the way to the bathroom.
Get your wee box of joy into your hands as much as possible!!
